It’s that time of the year again when everybody at University has to pack up their stuff and clean their student accommodation. We seem to do it in the most outrageous fashion, all in the hope of salvaging some of our house deposits.
It’s a week where friends turn in to enemies and then back to friends again, all because somebody forgot to bleach the ground floor bathroom. But before any of this pandemonium, we all have to find a way of shifting years and years worth of hoarding to a safe place, away from the great British summer, so that 48 hours later, we can do it all again when our new tenancy begins.
The biggest low for me is when you help a friend clean their place in order to procrastinate cleaning yours, and you get appreciated a total NOTHING. Here’s Matt…
If you found this whole moving out process as painful as we did, please let us know. We were wondering if you guys need a hand moving excess stuff and maybe keeping it all in a safe place next summer.
